Yes. In the case of Southern, you need to ensure that your easitCARD is valid for the entire duration of your season ticket. You can order a new easitCARD by logging in to your easitREGISTRATION page.

Tickets can't be discounted retrospectively but we can sort this out for the next time you need an easitDISCOUNT. Please email info@easit.org.uk with details of: the date, time and station where you tried to buy a ticket, the ticket type (eg single or return), ticket class, journey details. 

The easitCARD is available exclusively through us and means you can enjoy all sorts of great rail travel discounts. It costs £5.35 (inc VAT) a year. 

If your easitCARD still hasn't arrived three weeks after placing your order, please log into your account to check your details are correct. If they're wrong, please contact us as info@easit.org.uk. R can organise a replacement card for the small admin fee of £1.10 including postage.

(Please note: you must notify us within five weeks of your order or else we can't reprint the card. If it's any later, simply log in to your account to order a replacement). 

This may be because of your company firewall. Email info@easit.org.uk to request your activation email again. If it doesn’t arrive within five minutes, check your junk and spam filters. Still cant find it? Please contact your IT Helpdesk.

If you used a work email address to register, it can't be changed unless to another email address issued by your employer.

Yes - it's used to identify you when traveling on our discounted tickets. If stopped without it, you risk being fined. 

Unfortunately not. If you don't have the easitCARD on you, you're travelling unlawfully and risk being fined if stopped.

Simply log into your account on our site to order a replacement.

You must have an easitCARD with you at all times when travelling on an easitDISCOUNTED fare. Otherwise you may receive a Penalty Fare.

Tickets purchased at the easitDISCOUNT rate carry the same T&C’s as a normal rail ticket, so do check with your rail operator.

Unfortunately not. Only staff of easitMEMBERS are eligable.

We keep the cost of the easitCARD down by using Royal Mail second class post. Please allow three weeks for your card to be made and posted to you.

Please visit our rail travel page to check you've selected the correct 'Railcard' (South Western Railway or Southern Trains).

Each rail operator has their own terms & conditions, so check our rail page. For instance, 'Journeys TO a destination' mean just that, and not any journey along that route.

We will always email you a reminder, but these can get clogged up in company firewalls. We therefore suggest you make a note of the expiry date and order 3-4 weeks before that.

For security reasons, we have to post the easitCARD to the address provided when ordering.

We negotiate each exclusive easitDISCOUNT with the individual train company. Therefore a discount can't be applied if your journey involves another train company.  

easit is a small Social Enterprise and we aim to keep costs as low as possible. We strike a balance between timeframes for delivery and costs. 

As our rail discounts are negotiated with the specific train company for routes on their network, they can't be combined with any other tickets.

You can also purchase tickets from the relevant manned ticket office ie tickets for Southern routes must be bought from a Southern station. (Check which train operators run to which stations at our rail page. You must show the easitCARD every time you buy a ticket). 

easit is a small social enterprise that aims to encourage sustainable commuting. easit is a trademark owned by Road Pals Ltd. It originally stood for East Area of Surrey Initiative for Transport but, since spreading our wings, it's now simply known as easit.

Our company registration number 04792280 and VAT registration number is 822 1299 46.

Our cards are valid for one year and three weeks from the date of order. This is regardless of any easitCARDS currently held. (We add the three weeks for free to allow for postage time).

You can cancel your order up to five working days after placing it. We'll refund the cost minus a 90p administration fee. To request your refund, please contact info@easit.org.uk.

Unfortunatley not. However if you contact us at info@easit.org.uk within five working days of placing your order, we can cancel the order for a 90p administration fee. You can the re-order. 

Currently, the only type of ticket that can have the easitDISCOUNT is a traditional paper ticket.

Being an easitMEMBER of easitNETWORK entitles you to some great travel discounts and lots of incentives, ideas and advice to help you travel to work more sustainably. For instance, bike loans, lunchtime shuttle buses and car club schemes.

Our discounts are genuine discounts on the normal fares and closely controlled. You can't buy from a ticket machine but you can buy from station staff at the ticket desk. Please visit our rail page to find out more. 

An easitCARD costs £5.35 (inc VAT) a year and you can purchase one here. 

You can only collect your ticket with that reference and the card you paid with at the time of booking. Although we always send a confirmation  email, these sometimes get caught up in a firewall and arrive too late. 

No problem, simply return it to us and we'll refund you for the unused period.

We strongly recommend using registered post, as we are unable to accept liability for any lost in transit.

Unfortunately not. Our discounts are very stricktly controlled and only apply to the ticket types mentioned on the rail pages of our website.

Unfortunately not. We need a clear accurate photograph of your face so that anyone viewing the easitCARD knows by looking at it that it's you.

When purchasing a season ticket we strongly recommend that you either do so via our website or prior to organising your loan, you obtain the actual price from a station managed by the train company you will be traveling with. This is because prices do seem to vary from station to station by a percentage point or two.

We will ask you to correct your address details and send you a secure link to make a small admin payment of £1.10, enabling us to repost the easitCARD.
